FLAT STANLEY 2007-08

Flat Stanley is a fictional story character who was flattened by a bulletin board but eventually comes to appreciate all the advantages to being flat.  Each child sends their Flat Stanley to friends and family asking them to take him on adventures and then return him to class with an explanation of how he spent his time.  Through this, the children are learning about geography and important facts about each of the states he visited. Read on for some more adventures! I will continue to update this page...

Here we are making our own Flat Stanleys and getting ready to send him on an  adventure with our families and friends.

Hiroki's made it all the way to Japan.  We even received postcards in Japanese!

Rachel’s Flat Stanley went to St. Louis, Ian’s visited the Real Musical Adventures of  Flat Stanley and Jessica’s went to HOLLYWOOD!

Emily's went to Albuquerque and Daniel's went to Grandma's House!

Julian's visited the Hackley School and they were also doing Flat Stanley! Justin's visited California and twe received  Banana flattened!  Remy's went to Uncle Peter's in Mass.

Matthew's Flat Stanley had a great vacation in the Bahamas and Noelle's went to Virginia and we still are getting updates on his adventures!

Stefanie's  Flat Stanley had a great time in Long Island and Laura's spent some time with her cousin.

Anthony's Flat Stanley went to work with his mom, Austin's to Madera, California and Andrew's had some fun times with Grandma!

Bria's Flat Stanley made a new flat friend, Barnard,, on his trip. Madison received lots of postcards from Uncle Billy. Quinlan's had tons of fun with Aunt Kate in California and Hudson's ventured all the way to Kauii and came back with a new outfit!

Sam's FS had some cool times in the pool with his Aunt while Anna's ventured all the way to  Italy.  Matteo's went to his Nonna's and even came back with cookies to eat!

Bobbie's FS went to the Mount Kisco Police Station.. just to visit! Alexa's made is all the way to California!
