Flat Stanley is a fictional story character who was flattened by a bulletin board but eventually comes to appreciate all the advantages to being flat.  Each child sends their Flat Stanley to friends and family asking them to take him on adventures and then return him to class with an explanation of how he spent his time.  Through this, the children are learning about geography and important facts about each of the states he visited. Read on for some more adventures!
